Well, creating a blog is not as difficult as it could be. wish instructions told you that you would have to create another (!) email account (there are some of us who don't have gmail accounts). but this is over so now to wait for item 3.
Glad you found it not-so-difficult! Gmail has pros and cons, but remember you can always abandon it after the course is over, if you think you won't really need/use it.
